I have worked on a number of projects and with a variety of organisations to help create a more inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ people. As a trans and queer person I have personal experience as well as professional. I have helped to create policy documents and guidance around transgender inclusion for university staff and students. I have given talks on how to create trans inclusive research within academia. I have also worked with communities to help create more a more inclusive and understanding environment for LGBTQ+ people. I am passionate about helping to create spaces where people can be fully themselves and to remove barriers that prevent this from happening.
